D2R RNA-Seq Bootcamp

The RNA-Seq Bootcamp is a hands-on training workshop organized by McGill’s D2R initiative and partners Computational and Data Systems Initiative, Quantitative Life Sciences-McGill initiative in Computational Medicine, the D2R-HeDS Platform (Health Data Science), C3G and the RI-MUHC platforms. It is designed to introduce participants to RNA-seq data analysis, starting from basic command-line skills and progressing through key bioinformatics workflows such as quality control, read alignment, gene quantification, differential expression analysis, and pathway interpretation. The bootcamp also includes exposure to more advanced topics such as single-cell RNA-seq analysis, with an emphasis on practical, reproducible analysis skills for real datasets.
