2nd CareLeuko Symposium
December 5, 2025
The second annual Canadian Association for Research Excellence in Leukodystrophy (CARELeuko) Symposium will be held on December 5, 2025, at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. CARELeuko is a national initiative dedicated to advancing research collaboration and improving care for individuals affected by leukodystrophies (a group of rare, progressive, and often life-limiting genetic disorders affecting the cerebral white matter).
Our mission is to bring clinicians, researchers, patient advocacy leaders, and families from across Canada together, to address critical knowledge gaps, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and accelerate the development of new diagnostics, treatments, and support programs. The CARELeuko symposium will convene 150 key stakeholders to share research findings, exchange best practices, and identify priority areas for future action.
