Génome Québec and Cystic Fibrosis Canada are investing $1.2 million in two research projects on rare diseases related to cystic fibrosis. The major goal of this investment is the development of new therapies. The two funded projects aim, on the one hand, at the long-term correction of the 621+1G>T mutation and, on the other hand, at the correction of mutations in the CFTR protein.
